Clip-Clop Clovers prepare for fair

GREENFIELD — The Clip Clop Clover 4-H Club met May 7 at Saint James Lutheran Church in Greenfield with 12 members attending. Logan McKinney presided over the meeting, with Hannah Eads leading the Pledge of Allegiance and Ryan Eads leading the 4-H pledge.

Hunter Chaffee presented on the topic of electricity, Megan Bell talked about creating necklaces, Lizzie Chaffee talked about creating bracelets and Ryan Eads displayed a pond model.

The club discussed green folders, achievement cards, record sheets, newsletters, workshops, project judging and fair dates. Levi McKinney read the treasurer’s report and Landon Skoulas led a song. Katelynn Howell presented the community service report. The group made crafts for a nursing home and each committee met. Linda Petty led a game of relay races before Seth Eads adjourned the meeting.

Upcoming events include the lemon shake-up stand June 28 and the Hancock County 4-H Fair parade June 24.

The next meeting will be conducted at 3 p.m. June 11 at Saint James Lutheran Church, 1741 S State St, Greenfield. The club reporter is Delaney William.
