Nikki Lee Cole, 72, of Maxwell, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017, at Methodist Hospital. Born on May 4, 1945, in Indianapolis as the daughter of William L. and Rose I. (Replogle) Cole.
Nikki graduated from Charlottesville High School in 1963.
She worked for Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis for over 26 years before retiring. Nikki was a member of WIBC. She loved reading, bowling and watching her niece and nephew race with Bluegrass BMX.
Nikki is survived by her sister, Johnna (Richard) Wakefield of Shelbyville; uncle, Thomas Cole of Maxwell; niece Brandee (Greg) Woodall of Greenfield; nephew, Brian Cole of Indianapolis; great-niece, Emilee Woodall of Greenfield; great-nephew, Zachary (Sarah) Woodall of El Paso, Tx.; great-great-niece, Natalie; stepmother, Ruth Cole of Greenfield; and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Luzena Lorenz and Ramona Short; and brother, William Cole.
A Celebration of Nikki’s Life to be announced at a later date.
