Donna Holden, 70, of New Castle and formerly of Greenfield, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017, at her home. Born May 30, 1946, in Connersville, Ind., the daughter of the late Ralph Eugene and Viola Mae Spurgeon Nickel.
She worked at Riley House for 26 years and attended the Sanctuary of New Castle and Faith Apostolic in Greenfield.
Survivors include her four children, Tammy Acuna of New Castle, Gretchen (Charles Butch) Cass-Kriner of Greencastle, Jean (Jason) Coffey of Indianapolis, Chad Holden of New Castle; several grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a sister, Linda (Ron) Hoff of Arcadia; three brothers, Charles (Betty) Holden of Knightstown, Dave (Marlene) Nickel and Richard Nickel of Greenfield.
Preceded in death by her parents; a son, Danny Joe; grandchildren, Kevin Eugene Johnson, Brittany Lynn Stephens, Joseph Michael Branock.
Services will beat 3 p.m., Thursday at Marcum Community Funeral Home. Pastor Jeff Jaco will be officiating. Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
