The Hancock County Health Department inspects restaurants four times annually and violations are determined as “C” for critical, “NC” for noncritical and “R” for repeated violations. The following inspections are based on information obtained from Retail Food Inspection Reports.

April 25

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt

Location: 1917 Melody Lane, Greenfield

Type of Inspection: Routine

Violations found: C/R – potentially hazardous ready-to-eat foods that contain liquid milk and are refrigerated or held above freezing must have date or expiration of milk with each batch, to be corrected by April 27; C – machines storing/dispensing potentially hazardous ready-to-eat foods must be cleaned per manufacturer’s instructions and logged, to be corrected by April 27; C – sanitizing solution too strong, dispenser not calibrated for chemical being used, to be corrected by April 25; NC – need sanitizing strips available and used, to be corrected by May 5.
