Donald Wayne “Marble” Leisure, 75, resident of Daleville, passed away Sunday at his residence peacefully surrounded by friends and family. He was born in Grant City, Ind., July 15, 1941, the son of Lloyd and Velma (Edwards) Leisure.

He attended Charlottesville High School and retired from General Motors in 1998 after 35 years of service.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Helen J. (Craig) of Daleville; son, Anthony McPheron (Megan) of Yorktown; daughter, Tanya Heckaman (Mark) of Pendleton; brother, Kenneth Leisure of Carthage; sisters, Donna Oakes (Dave) of Greenfield and Judy Browning of Knightstown; a grandchild, Amanda Moore of Pendleton and two great-grandchildren, McKinley and Kaylee Moore of Pendleton; several nieces and nephews.

He had been preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 S Walnut St, Daleville. A Celebration of his life will be held at Noon on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor David Oakes officiating. Burial will follow in Saunders Cemetery, Daleville.
