Baccalaureate service coming up

NEW PALESTINE — The New Palestine community will host the annual baccalaureate service to honor graduating seniors at 7 p.m. May 25 in the New Palestine High School auditorium.

The public is invited to participate in the non-denominational community service that is sponsored by area churches.

Several clergy and lay people participate in the planning of the evening.

This year Josh Hahn, senior minister at The Fountain Christian Church in Fountaintown, will deliver the message.

A baccalaureate service is a religious farewell and blessing to the graduating senior class, honoring them in prayer and celebrating their achievements.

The student-led worship service offers choral and solo music, and testimony.
