FORTVILLE — Students from Mt. Comfort Elementary School recently spent a day at the Junior Achievement of Central Indiana BizTown, where — for a
few hours, at least — they got a tiny taste of adulthood. The immersive pretend community, complete with businesses, offices and students portraying the people who run them, seeks to give students a practical lesson in time and money  anagement. Students were assigned jobs as they were welcomed in BizTown. Then, they were paid with BizTown dollars for their work and got to make choices at day’s end about how to spend their money.
