Area natives featured in university concerts

ANGOLA — Two area natives participated in concert events at Trine University recently.

The Trine University Choir, directed by Geoffrey North, D.M., presented “Songs of Hope, Joy and Peace,” April 29 in Ryan Concert Hall inside the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts. Among the University Choir members is Jacob Brutcher of New Palestine.

Austin Crouse of Pendleton performed with the Trine University wind and percussion ensembles during the April 30 spring concert for the ensembles.

Founded in 1884 and accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, Trine University operates a 450-acre main campus in Angola, Indiana, and education resource centers throughout Indiana, Arizona and Michigan.
