Joyce Ann Smith, 77, of Indianapolis, passed away April 28, 2017. She was born October 22, 1939, in Memphis, Ind., to the late Jesse Lawrence and Ora Addie (Morgan) Montgomery.
Joyce was employed as a Service Writer for PAC Lease for eight years and previously was employed as a Sales Associate at Galyans, retiring in 1992. She was a devoted member of Franklin Road Church of Christ.
Visitation will be form 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 11, at the funeral home.
Joyce is survived by son, David E. Smith; daughter, Denise Ann Smith; son, Douglas S. Smith; brother, Lawrence Montgomery (Pauline); sisters, Dorothy Miller (Eddie), Phyllis Mullins (Earl); Pam Hickman (Ron); grandchildren, Josh, Jacob, Kylie and Kyle Smith.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Byron Smith and granddaughter, Apryl Smith.
