Celebrate Free Comic Book Day at area store

GREENFIELD – Celebrate Free Comic Book Day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at Hometown Comics, 1506 N. State St. More than 7,000 comics have been given away during the past seven years, and Hometown Comics hopes to give away another thousand comics Saturday. Square dance club hosts craft fair

GREENFIELD — The Riley Wranglers Square Dance Club hosts the 33rd annual Arts & Crafts Fair from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Hancock County 4-H Fairgrounds, 620 N Apple St. More than 100 vendors will be in attendance, and the event features food sales and local entertainment. Bowl for books with Bentley

GREENFIELD — Bentley’s Buddies and Friends host its third annual “Bowl for Books” fundraiser from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Strikeforce Lanes, 1539 W. Main St. Additional activities include a doggy kissing booth and a bake sale for humans and dogs. Parks and Rec. offers bike safety program

GREENFIELD — Any and all bike riders are invited to pedal over to the Pennsy Trail at 9 a.m. May 13 for a bicycle safety demonstration offered by Greenfield Parks and Recreation and the Greenfield Police Department. The event will take place on the Pennsy Trail near the Greenfield police station at 116 S. State St. Register to attend at greenfieldin.org/parks/program-listings-and-registrations by May 10.

Riverdance celebrates 20th anniversary with tour

INDIANAPOLIS — The international Irish dance troupe is back with “Riverdance — The 20th Anniversary World Tour” May 9 through 11 at Clowes Memorial Hall, 4602 Sunset Ave. Drawing on Irish traditions, performers propel Irish dancing and music into the present day with a blend of dance, music and song.
