IHSAA baseball tourney pairings to be revealed
The IHSAA baseball state tournament pairings will be announced Friday. The program will webstream exclusively at ihsaatv.org and begin at 7 p.m.
Greg Rakestraw of 1070-AM The Fan in Indianapolis and an announcer for the IHSAA Champions Network will host the pairings show.

Dragons hold at 4th in baseball rankings
The New Palestine Dragons baseball team held in the latest Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association’s weekly rankings.
The Dragons remain at fourth in Class 3A with a 12-2 record. New Palestine defeated Brebeuf Jesuit 8-6 last week along with Connersville 8-1.

2017 Youth baseball camp planned for June
The 2017 Cougar Baseball Summer Fundamental Camp is planned for June. Current Cougar Coaches along with current and former players will assist with instruction and leadership over the eight scheduled days.
The camp’s sessions will be at Molinder Field at Greenfield-Central (810 N. Broadway St., Greenfield).
Dates are June 19 to 22 for ages 9 to 12 and June 26 to 29 for ages 13 to 14. The cost of the camp is $35 before June 15 and $45 after the deadline.

Bulldogs men’s tennis win 2017 Big East title
The Butler men’s tennis team won the 2017 BIG EAST title in dramatic fashion, coming back to take a 4-3 win against Marquette Sunday morning in Cayce, South Carolina.
Butler, now 18-5 on the season, will return to the NCAA Tournament in men’s tennis for the first time since 2007.
