FRANKLIN — A Greenfield native was recently inducted into the academic honorary society at Franklin College.
Alexandria Colclazier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kent Colclazier of Greenfield, was one of 19 members inducted into Franklin College’s chapter of Alpha Society during a ceremony in the Johnson Center for Fine Arts.
Established in 1922, the Alpha Society is an academic honorary society at Franklin College. Its purpose is to promote and recognize scholarship at the undergraduate level. To be eligible for membership students must have a GPA of no less than 3.50 (on a 4.0 scale). Alpha Society admits the top 10 percent of the college’s junior and senior classes.
