4-H club elects new officers

GREENFIELD — The Clip Clop Clover 4-H Club met April 2 at Saint James Lutheran Church in Greenfield with 15 members attending. Katherine Roth and Logan McKinney presided over the meeting, with Ryan Eads leading the Pledge of Allegiance and Lincoln Roth leading the 4-H pledge and presenting the health and safety topic of safety in baseball.

Megan Bell and Hannah Eads read inspirational quotes, while Hannah Eads also presented on the topic of how materials affect how ice melts.

The club discussed green folders, record sheets and newsletters.

New officers elected were presidents Katherine Roth and Logan McKinney; float chairperson Megan Bell; completion party chairpeople Levi McKinney and Jacob Roth; community service chairperson Katelynn Howell; minutes secretary Elizabeth Roth; attendance secretaries Hannah Eads and Heaven Keesling; treasurer Levi McKinney; reporter Delaney William; song leader Landon Skoulas; health and safety leaders Lincoln Roth and Heaven Keesling; science leaders Ryan Eads, Alexis Eads and Hunter Chaffee; inspirational leaders Megan Bell and Hannah Eads; recreation leaders Katelynn Howell, Delaney William, Seth Eads, Ryan Eads and Lizzie Chaffee; welcome leaders Megan Bell, Katelynn Howelln Delaney William, Alexis Eads, Ryan Eads, Seth Eads and Lizzie Chaffee.

Game leader Ryan Eads led the group in “Find your Twin” and parachute activities. Landon Skoulas and the Chaffee family provided refreshments.

The next meeting will be held at 3 p.m. May 7 at Saint James Lutheran Church, 1741 S State St, Greenfield.
