Phyllis Anne (Wise) Fulmer, 84, of Greenfield, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation, Greenfield. She was born on April 16, 1932, in Greenwood.

She graduated from Center Grove High School in 1950. Phyllis married James A. “Jim” Fulmer on November 18, 1950, in Stones Crossing, Ind.

She was a homemaker for many years. Phyllis was a member of Greenfield Christian Church where she was active in the church circle group and prayer square ministry. She served as a Hancock County Girls 4-H Leader and volunteered at Hancock Memorial Hospital and Hospital Guild. She loved crafting, painting, knitting, quilting and crocheting. She also enjoyed flower gardening and world traveling.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Jim Fulmer of Greenfield; son, Andrew (Norico) Fulmer of Maui, HI; daughter, Judy (Doug) Breese of Fairland; siblings, Jeff (Rosie) Wise of Bargersville, Ind., Bob Wise of Citrus Springs, Fla., Janice Clark of Ninevah, Ind. and Karen Crowe of Lebanon, Ind.; three grandchildren, Tim Fulmer, Nicole Fulmer and Bryan Breese.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Stella (Hague) Wise; and brother, Bill Wise.

A memorial visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A memorial service will take place following the visitation at 3 p.m. Reverend Frank Everett will be officiating. A private family burial will take place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery on a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the Greenfield Christian Church, 23 N. East St, Greenfield, IN 46140, or envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
