Michael A. Murphy, 63, of Greenfield, died on March16, 2017, in his residence. Michael was born in Vincennes, Ind., to Linda Louise (Hamm) Murphy and Isaac (Ike) Franklin Murphy on May 1, 1953.
Michael is survived by his six children, Tyler Murphy of Greenfield, Robert, Kristen, Kristopther, Kristina, and Kristy; his parents Linda and Ike Murphy of Vincennes, sister, Terri (Murphy) Medlock of Salem; nieces, Trisha Sease of Columbus, Trina LeBoeuf of St. Louis; nephews, Eric Carter of Bloomington, Chad Vandeventer of Palmyra, and Nicholas Medlock of Salem, along with several cousins, aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Randall Murphy and sister, Kathy (Murphy) Adams; grandparents, Zella and Tony Hamm and Violet and Frank Murphy, all of Vincennes.
A memorial service will be held at Noon on April 8, at the Church of the Nazarene in Vincennes, IN, with Reverend Garret Sloan officiating.
