Joan M. Kropp, 73, of New Palestine, died March 27, 2017. She was born September 5, 1943, in Indianapolis, the daughter of the late William and Loretta (Peacock) Kropp.
Joan is survived by her children, Dianne M. Carpenter-Akbari and Christopher Carpenter; two grandchildren; siblings, Richard E. (Murial) Kropp, Patricia A. Clayton, Louis (Melissa) Kropp, and Michael (Tina) J. Kropp.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, James “Jimmy” Carpenter.
Private family services are planned at a later date. Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East entrusted with arrangements. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
