Patricia Ann Stortzum, 77, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday morning on March 28, 2017, at Hancock Regional Hospital Hospice in Greenfield. She was born November 9, 1939, in Greenfield, to the late George E. and Fannie E. (Boucher) Van Duyn.
She was a homemaker, QMA for Brandywine Nursing Home and a security guard for BFI. She was a foster grandparent for the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of Hancock County Day Care. She enjoyed reading, playing on her iPad with her great-grandson and great-niece and was an avid Greenfield Eagle Watcher.
She is survived by her son, Larry Meece of Greenfield; daughter, Karla Nelson of Greenfield; brother, Jerry Van Duyn of Anderson; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents listed above; brothers, William Van Duyn, George Van Duyn, Dennis Van Duyn; and sisters, Mary Lou Holden, and Sherry Van Duyn.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday March 31, 2017, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
