Audrey Anna Ortel

Audrey Anna Ortel, 92, of New Palestine, died Friday, March 17, 2017, at Springhurst Health Campus in Greenfield. She was born on May 21, 1924, in New Palestine, as the daughter of Edward and Bessie (Bruce) Ortel.

She is survived by her son, Dan Ortel of New Palestine; a granddaughter; and brother, Don (Marlis) Ortel of New Palestine.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson; and brothers, Melvin, Elmer, and Tommy Ortel.

Visitation will be from Noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, at Zion Lutheran Church, 6513 W. 300 S., New Palestine, IN 46163. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday March 25, Pastor Jason Taylor will be officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to Zion Lutheran Church, 6513 W. 300 S., New Palestine, IN 46163 or envelopes will be available at the church.
