David W. Hankins, 71, of Indianapolis, died Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Hancock Regional Hospice. He was born on July 30, 1945, in Indianapolis as the son of Myron and Dorothy (Fisher) Hankins.
David is survived by his loving church family and caregivers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Myron and Dorothy Hankins; and special friend, Phyllis Rice.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 1 p.m. Pastor Roger Kinion will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
