Jerry Vance Lay, 59, of Shirley, died Monday, March 6, 2017, at his home in Shirley. He was born June 11, 1957, in Bedford, Ind., the son of Jack and Eloise (Barrett) Lay.
Survivors include his mother, Eloise Lay of Greensburg, Ind.; brother, John (Debra) Lay, II of Los Osos, Ca.; sister, Jamie (Trevor) Hellmich of Greensburg; stepmother, Roberta Lay; children, Justin and Jennifer Lay; seven nieces and nephews; uncles, Ted (Stephanie) Lay and Don (Phyllis) Lay.
He was preceded in death by his father, John R. Lay.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, March 9, with funeral service at 6 p.m., officiated by Pastor Jim Jackson at Condo and Son Funeral Home Wilkinson. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 10, at Fairview Cemetery in Orleans, Ind.
