HANCOCK COUNTY – Edelweiss Equine-Assisted Therapy Center is looking to the public for suggestions for a new name for the facility.

The organization, which provides horseback riding opportunities to people with disabilities, is in the process of reevaluating its mission and values, and board members decided it is a good time to consider a name change, said program director Bethann Kropacek.

Officials hope members of the public will help them brainstorm something that’s a little shorter and more to the point than the facility’s current 13-syllable name. To submit suggestions, go to horses4therapy.org.
