Twenty North Gallery presents student art show

GREENFIELD — The Student Artists of Greenfield show opens Saturday at the Twenty North Gallery, 20 N. State St. Presented by My Community, My Vision, the exhibit will display a range artwork produced by the artists of Greenfield-Central High School. The gallery’s Saturday hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A reception for the artists will be held at the gallery at 6:30 p.m. March 10. The show and the reception are free and open to the public.

African Children’s Choir perform at Calvary Baptist Church

GREENFIELD — The African Children’s Choir will perform at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Calvary Baptist Church, 1450 W. Main St. The program will feature children’s songs, traditional spirituals and gospel and African songs and dances. The African Children’s Choir has performed for the Queen Elizabeth of England and alongside Paul McCartney, Keith Urban and Mariah Carey. Admission is free, but donations are welcome.

Kid$ville teaches about the working world

GREENFIELD — Kids ages 3 to 12 can get hands-on experience with the adult world of work and money at Kid$ville Saturday at Greenfield Banking Company, 1920 N. State St. Participants will interview and be assigned a job, earn a paycheck and make decisions about what to do with money in this free interactive mini-town. Job interviews start at 9:30 a.m. Opening ceremonies begin at 10 a.m. The event closes at 11:30 a.m. For more information, call 317-462-1431.

Greenfield Community Choir presents classical music program

GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Community Choir, under the direction of Matt Little, will present a classical music concert at 4 p.m. Sunday at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 515 Jefferson Blvd. Tickets are $5 each and available at the door.

Spring Break Nature Camp registration now open

GREENFIELD — Registration for the Greenfield Parks & Recreation Nature Camps is now open to school-aged children. The camps, held at Thornwood Preserve, 1707 S. Morristown Pike, run from 9 a.m. to noon March 13 through 16 and March 20 through 23. The cost is $25 for residents and $30 for non-residents. Enrollment is limited to 10 per session. Television talkers on stage in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — CNN anchor Anderson Cooper and television producer Andy Cohen present an evening of unscripted and uncensored conversation at 8 p.m. March 10 at the Old National Center, 502 N. Peewinkle’s hosts classic puppet show

INDIANAPOLIS — Puppeteer Guy Thompson will make a one-day only appearance at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday at Peewinkle’s Puppet Studio in the Indiana State Museum at 650 W. Washington St. Thompson’s Punch and Judy shows have been a highlight of the Fisher’s Renaissance Faire and other family festivals. $12 tickets include free popcorn and an additional post-show workshop is available for $3.
