Kenneth W. “Bud” Lantz, 80, of Greenfield passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at Golden Living Center, Greenfield. He was born July 30, 1936, in New Castle, Ind., to the late William and Ruth (Scott) Lantz.

Kenneth proudly served in the Marine Corp during the Korean War as an Ammunition Tech and Military Police. He married Carolyn (McCoy) Lantz on January 13, 1996. Together they attended Brandywine Community Church and enjoyed spending time with their family. Prior to his retirement, Kenneth enjoyed a long career with Draper, Inc.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Carolyn of Greenfield; son, Geoffrey Lantz; daughter, LeAnn (Burt Borden) Brumbaugh; stepdaughters, Kim (Greg) Bales, Jennifer Baughan, Teresa (Mark) Batt, Anne (David Smith) Weir; brother, Bill (Sherry) Lantz; grandchildren, Kenny Barton, Troy Williams; stepgrandchildren, Nathan Weir, Michael Weir, Josh Reno, Pam Reno, Wendy (Rex) Norris and seven great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents listed above.

Friends may call 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, March 3, 2017, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140 with funeral service at 1 p.m. with Bill Lantz officiating. Burial immediately following at Circle Grove Cemetery, Spiceland.
