Frank Andrew Stringer
Frank Andrew Stringer, 52, of Greenfield, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at his residence. He was born on August 23, 1964, in Beech Grove, as the son of Larry and Hattie C. (Winchester) Stringer.
Frank married Katrina C. (Calvert) on April 14, 1995, in Greenfield. He was a self-employed painting contractor for Stringer Painting, LLC. Frank enjoyed hunting, being outdoors, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Frank is survived by his wife, Katrina Stringer of Greenfield; daughter, Ashley (David) Phelps of Beech Grove; brothers, Ricky (Pina) Stringer of Somerset, Ky., Dale (Lavay) Stringer of Franklin, Ind., Bill (Laura) Stringer of Monticello, Ky.; sisters, Pat Stoltz of Wilmington, NC, Linda (John) Sparks of Martinsville, Ind., Faye (Guy) Sauer of Martinsville, Ind. and Becky (Fred) Clapper of Beech Grove; mother and father-in-law, Linda and Edward Calvert of Greenfield; brother-in-law, Kevin (Tracy) Calvert of New Palestine; godchildren, Jessica and Madison Hall and Savana and Dakota Miller; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Hattie Stringer and brother, Ronnie Stringer.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 3, at the mortuary. Pastor Tommy Hensley will be officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
