HANCOCK COUNTY — Tri Kappa Sorority, Upsilon Chapter, offers several scholarships to county residents.
These include four $1,000 scholarships for graduating high school seniors, as well as one $500 scholarship for adult female students. Scholarships must be used at an accredited college or at an acceptable technical or vocational school in Indiana.
High school seniors can contact their guidance counselor for an application. Applications must be postmarked on or before March 20 to the Tri Kappa Scholarship Chair, Candy Short.
Female adults, 25 years or older, are eligible for the Strawmyer-Pickett Memorial Scholarship. Applications may be requested from Scholarship Chair.
