GREENFIELD — More than 100 Hancock County Girl Scouts will convene at the Hancock County Fairgrounds on Sunday to conduct the annual Girl Scout World Thinking Day.

The event will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the 4-H Exhibit Hall at the fairgrounds, 620 N. Apple St., Greenfield. Girl Scout World Thinking Day is open to the public.

Started in 1926, the event focuses on issues affecting girls and young women worldwide; this year’s theme is “Grow.” Each of the 15 troops participating will create a display representing a different country and will present facts, trivia and a food or drink native to the country.
