GREENFIELD — A semi-tractor trailer overturned Thursday afternoon along Interstate 70 near Greenfield, causing traffic to be blocked to one lane.

The accident happened around 12:30 p.m.

The truck involved was headed eastbound on I-70 near the 105 mile maker and tipped onto its side. Police were still investigating the cause of the crash at press time.

Indiana State Police officers said the driver suffered minor injuries that were treated at the scene. His name was not released.

Eastbound traffic was reduced to one lane near the accident site, causing backups between State Road 9 and County Road 200N for several hours while first-responders cleared the scene.
