Library presents Little Red Riding Hood opera-style

GREENFIELD — Culture comes to the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road, when the Indianapolis Opera Company presents “Little Red’s Most Unusual Day,” at 10:45 a.m. Feb. 18. With music by composers Offenbach and Rossini, this comedic opera will entertain both children and adults. The performance is free, but attendees should register at the library website.

Trivia night raises money for

GREENFIELD — Sharpen your wits to participate in Trivia Night for Brighter Futures at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at NineStar Connect, 2243 E. Community choir sings love songs

GREENFIELD — “Eat, Sing, Love” with the Greenfield Community Choir at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Greenfield Christian Church, 23 N. East St. The choir, directed by Matt Little, celebrates Valentine’s Day with love songs, desserts and beverages. Donations are welcome at the door.

Wine-tasting event benefits Tri Kappa service projects

GREENFIELD — Tri Kappa, a Greenfield area service organization, serves up an evening of appetizers and wine-tasting at “Pour Your Heart Out” from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at SoupHerb at 16 N. State St. Tickets for this fundraiser are $30 at the door. A $15 non-alcoholic ticket is also available. The proceeds go to fund Tri Kappa service projects. Art fair features Hoosier craftsmen

INDIANAPOLIS — The Annual Indiana Art Fair will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Indiana State Museum, 650 W. Washington St. The work of more than 60 Hoosier artists will be on display and on sale including wearable art and original conversation pieces for your home. Admission to the art fair is included with museum admission.
