GREENFIELD — Two local girls scored high in a recent pageant and will represent Hancock County at a following St. Louis pageant.
Kyleigh Petty, 13, and Aubree Petty, 5, daughters of Kristina and Aaron Petty of Greenfield, competed in the recent “America’s Best Pageant” and both will advance to the Midwest State Pageant in St. Louis March 31 to April 2.
Aubree received the Mega High Point Queen Award and the title “Li’l’ Miss Hancock.” Kyleigh also received the Mega High Point Queen Award and was named “Miss Teen Greenfield.”
Both girls have donated to local food pantries and the Hancock Hope House and participated with Meet Me Under the Bridge, an organization aimed at helping people who live under bridges because they are without permanent shelter.
