Donald E. Young, 75, of Greenfield, died February 1, 2017, at St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 23, 1942, in Oneida, Tenn., at home, to parents, William Edward and Dorthy Mae (Henry) Young.
Don is survived by daughters, Lana Thomas of Greenfield and Mary (Doug) Wheeler of Greenfield; three grandchildren; sister, Mary Ison of New Whiteland; seven nieces and nephews,and several great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three infant brothers; brothers, Hughey and Riley; sister, Ruby; and nephew, Eddie Earle.
Dad, you have made a huge impact on all of the lives you have touched throughout the years. You will be sadly missed by everyone. You left this earth on National Freedom Day, and now you are free.
