Patricia Waterman, 88, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017, at Crown Pointe Communities. She was born May 13, 1928, in Indianapolis a daughter of Charles Andrew and Helen Viola (Groves) Buckner.
She was a 1947 graduate of Warren Central High School. Patricia was an avid bowler and bowled in several leagues. She loved crocheting, knitting, reading and attending her grandchildren’s school and sporting events.
She is survived by her husband, Irven E. Watermen of Greenfield; three children, David (Denise) Waterman of Indianapolis, Nancy (Thomas) Muir of Carthage and Scott (Connie) Waterman of Shirley; six grandchildren, Heather (Steven) Fisher, Tracy (Ryan) Schweizer, Jason (Jeanetta) Waterman, Jessica (Kevin) Baldwin, Nikki Waterman and Lori (Roger) McKinney; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter on the way; a sister, Marilyn (Chuck) Skirvin of Acton; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. with Pastor Roger Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Carthage.
