County homemakers host informational programs

GREENFIELD – Hancock County Extension Homemakers hosts two informational programs Feb. 13.

Stacey Grogg, a Johnson County extension educator, will host “Label Reading Beyond the Basics” at 1 p.m. at the Purdue University Extension Office, 802 N. Apple St. The program will present simple ways to navigate through unfamiliar ingredients.

At 2 p.m., Diana Stone, Shelby County extension educator will present “Planning for Unexpected Life Events,” about being prepared for health problems and natural or man-made disasters. Printed materials and light refreshments will be available.
