Greenfield theater troupe holds auditions for upcoming comedy

GREENFIELD — The Ricks-Weil Theatre Company seeks two men, ages 21 to 55, to play several different roles in its upcoming production of “Greater Tuna.” Auditions will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 at the H.J. Ricks Centre for the Arts, 122 W. Main St. Those who audition should have good comedic timing, an open mind and a great sense of humor. They will also be expected to read from the script and demonstrate some stage movement. For more information, email [email protected].

Exhibit features artistic work of current educators, retirees

GREENFIELD — Teachers and retired teachers are invited to submit artwork for the 2017 Teachers as Artists exhibit. The deadline for submitting JPG files of 2-D and 3-D artwork is Feb. 4. Indiana Arts Commission offers career development grants

INDIANA — The Indiana Arts Commission now accepts applications for Individual Artist Program grants. Individual artist grants provide support to artists at all stages of their career development. Applicants may request a maximum of $2,000. Applications will be accepted from the discipline of dance, literary arts, music and theater. Application deadline is Feb. 3.
