GREENFIELD — The Red Banana offers a workshop in chalkboard art from 5 to 7 p.m. on Jan. 14 at the Red Banana, 14 N. State St. The class will go over the basics of using chalkboards and chalk, letter anatomy, shading, highlighting and flourishing. GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Parks and Recreation announces open singles and doubles play for pickleball from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesdays, 5 to 7 p.m. Thursdays, and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturdays at the Memorial Building, 98 E. North St. for a $2 fee per person per visit. Pickleball is an easy-to-learn paddle sport for all ages that can be played indoors or outdoors. Players should bring their own paddles. INDIANAPOLIS — Tickets are on sale now to see the Harlem Globetrotters at noon on Jan. 14 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, 125 S. Pennsylvania. This exhibition basketball team has spent 90 years blending athleticism, theater and comedy to entertain audiences around the world.
