Carol K. Wagoner, 48, a life long Rushville resident, passed away January 8, 2017, in Rushville. Carol was born April 1, 1968, in Rushville to Carroll “Butch” and Linda K. (Lightner) Woods.
She married Lester “Jr” Wagoner on May 23, 2008, and he survives.
Carol was a 1986 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School and began working for INDOT that same year, retiring in 2015. She was an avid reader and enjoyed working in her flowers.
She is survived by her parents, Linda K. Woods of Homer and Carroll “Butch” Woods of Rushville,; her husband, Jr Wagoner, of Rushville; a daughter, Jessica (C.W.) Messer of Rushville; stepdaughter, Brandy (ER) Supulveda of Ft. Worth, Tx., stepson, Michael Wagoner of Shelbyville; brothers, James (Shannon) Woods and Scott Woods all of Rushville; a sister, Mary Ann (Gary) Weightman of Rushville and grandsons, Theodore Messer and Hendrix Supulveda. She is also survived by her dog, Lily.
Friends are welcome to visit from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday evening, January 11, at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 12, at the mortuary with Warren Engel presiding. Burial will be in Rushville’s East Hill Cemetery.
