Betty L. (Blackford) Lipps, 76 of Greenfield, died on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. She was born on May 2, 1940, in Greenfield, to the late Maurice and Effie Mae (Hendren) Blackford.
Surviving Betty are her sons, Gregory (Candy) Kennedy of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., John (Robyn) Kennedy of Greenfield, Wade (Elizabeth) Kennedy of Knightstown, Ind., Rick (Susan) Kennedy of Greenfield; brothers, Bobby Blackford and Bradley Blackford both of Greenfield; sisters, Jackie Hughes of Pennsylvania, Janice Helms of Knightstown, Ind., Connie Dishman of Indianapolis; and five grandchildren.
Preceding Betty in death are her parents whom are listed above; husband, Joseph Lipps; six brothers; and four sisters.
A memorial visitation for Betty will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, January 9, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 West Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. also at the funeral home immediately following the visitation. Private family burial will follow at a later date.
