Tamara Jo “Tammy” Saunders, 58, of Knightstown and Charlottesville, died unexpectedly on the morning of Sunday, December 18, 2016, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. She was born August 3, 1958 in Greenfield, a daughter of the late Patricia (Helms) and James Mosley.
Those left to cherish Tammy’s memory include her son, Josh (Misty) Brinson of Rushville; her daughter, Trilby Whitham (Kim Hagan) of Franklin; eight grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Brenda (Rich) Elsamiller, Terry (Linda) Helms, Michael (Nycol) Mosley, Lenora (Tom) Conley and Jeff (Katie) Mosley; brothers-in-law, Wayne (Trisha) Saunders, Reece (Joan) Saunders, David Saunders, Jim (Kelly) Saunders and Elmer (Carla) Saunders; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charley Saunders and a brother-in-law, Danny Saunders.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, December 23, at Heritage Funeral Care. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, December 23, at the funeral home with Pastor George Huff officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
