Buck Creek choir plans performance

CUMBERLAND — Buck Creek Praise Choir will present the mini musical “Heaven’s Child” at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Buck Creek Baptist Church, 135 S. Muessing.

GREENFIELD — Bradley United Methodist Church will present a cantata in its 8:30 and 11 a.m. services Sunday at the church, 210 W. Main St.

Church choir sets cantata, party

McCORDSVILLE — McCordsville United Methodist Church’s choir will present “Jesus,” a Christmas cantata, at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the church, 6247 W. Broadway.

The cantata will be followed by the annual Christmas party, which will feature a special visitor from the North. Bring your favorite finger food or dessert to share.

Bloodmobile accepting donations at church

GREENFIELD — Indiana Blood Center’s Bloodmobile will accept donations from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday at Bradley United Methodist Church parking lot, 210 W. Main St. Visit indianablood.org to schedule an appointment, or call the church office at 317-462-2662. Walk-in donors are also welcome.

Band, dance troupe set to perform today

GREENFIELD — Christmastide Celebration will be presented by Brandywine Wind Band & Jazz Band, along with Wilkerson Dance Studio, at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. today at Trinity Park United Methodist Church, 207 W. Park Ave.

The theme of this year’s celebration is Christmas Past. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door or online at brandywine-wind.org.

Musical unveils real story of Christmas

Lutheran church sets Blue Christmas NEW PALESTINE — Cross of Grace Lutheran Church, will have a “Blue Christmas” worship service on Dec. 21, designed for folks who struggle with sadness, loneliness, etc., during the holidays.

“We call it worship for the weary,” the Rev. Mark Havel wrote in an email to the Daily Reporter.

Anyone is welcome, whether they fit that description or want to worship in support alongside others who do.
