GREENFIELD — Celebrate an old-fashioned Christmas from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday with a horse-drawn carriage ride. Rides depart from North Street behind the Riley Home and Boyhood Museum, 250 W. Main St. and follow a 7-mile loop through historic downtown Greenfield. Cocoa, cookies and other concessions will be sold on site. Tickets for carriage rides can be purchased online at greenfieldmainstreet.org for $10. Proceeds will benefit the Kenneth Butler Memorial Soup Kitchen.

GREENFIELD — Greenfield Main Street will present the classic holiday film “White Christmas” at 1 and 7 p.m. Dec. 14 at the H.J. Ricks Centre for the Arts, 122 W. Main St. “White Christmas” stars Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen, who sign on to perform a Christmas variety show at a rural Vermont inn to try and save it from bankruptcy. GREENFIELD — Tickets for “Little Things,” the Christmas ballet from Dance East Ballet Academy, are on sale now for $6 for students and $10 for adults. Performances are at 7 p.m. Dec. 17 and 2 p.m. Dec. 18 at the H. J. Ricks Centre for the Arts, 122 W. Main St. With choreography by director Dana Hart and set and artwork by Chris Sickels, the ballet features dancers from the academy and members of the community.
