Jayne Taylor, 53, of Greenfield passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at the home of her sister. She was born June 22, 1963, in New Castle.
Jayne was employed as a Legal Secretary with Barnes & Thornburgh, LLC in Indianapolis and in Georgia. She was a baptized member of First Christian Church in Knightstown. She enjoyed scuba diving, flying, shopping and flowers. She loved decorating for Christmas and Halloween. She was a very giving person and loved spending time with her children.
She is survived by her parents, Thomas and Sharon Nelson of Greenfield and Norman Manning of Spiceland; her high school sweetheart and boyfriend, Tom Dunaway of Georgia; her son, Zach Zornes (Ashley Schooley) of Greenfield; siblings, Ed (Kris) Manning of New Castle, Anna Stearns, Amanda (Doug) Barnhart, Candi (David) Bush and Tommy Nelson, all of Greenfield; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cassandra Taylor.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, December 16, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel. Visitation will also be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, December 17, at the funeral home with Rev. Richard Thayer officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery at Knightstown.
