Maurice “Gene” E. Brooks, 71 of Greenfield died Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at his home. He was born December 7, 1945, in Anderson, to the late Maurice W. and Bertha M. (Norris) Brooks.
Gene is survived by his wife of 28 years, Barbara Brooks; four sons, Kevin (Mandy) Brooks, Eric Brooks, Raymond Brown and Daniel Brown; three granddaughters; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Bertha Brooks; two sons; and three daughters.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, from 10 am to Noon at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 West Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at Noon, following the visitation also at the funeral home with Pastor David Woods officiating. Burial will follow at Carthage Cemetery.
