Charles Willis “Charlie” Kelley, 79, of Morristown, died Thursday, December 8, 2016, at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis. He was born February 4, 1937, in Greenville, Tenn., the son of Hubert and Maude (Charlton) Kelley.

On December 23, 1977, he married Karen Richey, and she survives.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Karen Richey; daughters, Dana James of Indianapolis, and Jami Hart (Dan) of Morristown; son, Charles Street (Brandy) of Woodruff, S.C.; brothers, Jack Kelley of Ohio, and Bill Kelly (Karlene) of Indianapolis; sisters, Elizabeth Woods and Linda Noe (Hank) both of White Pine, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Ronny Kelley; and great-granddaughter.

Visitation was from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., Sunday, December 11, at Fountaintown Christian Church, 797 W. Brookville Rd, in Fountaintown. Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m., Sunday at the church, with Pastor Josh Hahn officiating. Interment was at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown, with military graveside rites conducted by the local military committee.

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.
