FORTVILLE — Musical groups from Mt. Vernon High School have several upcoming performances planned.
» All Mt. Vernon choirs will perform their annual holiday concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 16, in the high school auditorium.
Expressions also will perform Dec. 19, at the Indianapolis Zoo as part of its Christmas at the Zoo festivities.
The choir will spend time caroling throughout the zoo and then perform onstage at Café on the Commons at 6:30 p.m.
» The high school’s two concert bands and the eighth-grade band will perform their annual holiday concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 13 in the high school auditorium.
Prior to the concert, the Music Boosters will play host to a bake sale outside the auditorium.
Pre-concert music will also be performed by elementary school students.
» The sixth- and seventh-grade bands will perform at 7 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Mt. Vernon Middle School gymnasium.
