Robert Gene Jordan, 86, of Shirley, died Sunday, December 4, 2016, at his home in Shirley. He was born February 19, 1930, in Shirley, the son of the late Glen and Letha (Hedrick) Jordan.
Survivors include, three daughters, Connie (Tony) Hinton of Lewisville, Bonita Martin of Greenfield, Sandra (Rick)Henderson of Comer, Ga.; one son, John Jordan of Knightstown; ten grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Glen Jordan of Wilkinson, James Jordan of Carthage; sister, Sue Ray of Carthage; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Eva Jordan in 2010; four brothers, Max, Arthur, William, Charles Jordan; and two sisters, Patricia Ray, Cathy Porter.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday December 6, at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown, with Jimmy Jackson officiating. Arrangements handled by Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson.
