Loris D. Harless, 93, of Pendleton, died December 1, 2016, at Community Hospital Anderson. He was born on May 24, 1923, in Pendleton, to Ernest and Iva Mae (Day) Harless.
Loris is survived by his two sons, Steven Mark (Sue) Harless and Luke (Anne) Harless both of Pendleton; two daughters, Marilyn (Matthew) Wand of Pendleton and Sara Howell of Anderson; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents; wife, Mary Lou (McIntire) Harless; brother, Lawrence Harless; and son, Jerry Alan Harless.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 7, at Loose Funeral Home & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St, Anderson. Celebration of Life Services will be at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 7, at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Blackwell officiating. Cremation will take place.
