Mary E. Shuler, 95 of Greenfield, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Brandywine Golden Living Center in Greenfield. She was born on October 28, 1921, in Marion, Ind., to the late William Earl and Regina Cecilia (Price) Sloderbeck.

Mary graduated high school from Indiana Academy in Cicero, Ind. and would spend her career working in the clerical banking department. She was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church in Carmel. Mary loved gardening, flowers and crafts including wood carving and crocheting.

Surviving Mary are her daughters, Kathleen (Roger) McKinney of Greenfield; Miriam Hope Dailey of Lexington, S.C.; nine grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents listed above; first husband, Rex Anderson; 2nd husband, Stephen Shuler; sons, James and Richard Anderson; brother, William Sloderbeck; and grandson, William Anderson.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2016, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 West Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor David Tenold officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Southland Memorial Gardens in West Columbia, SC.
