Associated conducting Thanksgiving service

GREENFIELD — Greater Greenfield Ministerial Association will conduct a community Thanksgiving service at 6 p.m. Sunday at Park Chapel Christian Church, 1176 E. McKenzie Road. Various local clergy members will be part of the service. Everyone is welcome.

New Palestine churches gather for fellowship meal

NEW PALESTINE — The New Palestine Fellowship of Churches will meet for soup and fellowship at 6 p.m. Sunday at New Palestine United Church (His Place), 15 E. Main St.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of where/whether you go to church.

A service follows at 7 p.m. Those who prefer to attend only the service are welcome to do so.

McCordsville Methodist to serve dinner

McCORDSVILLE — McCordsville United Methodist Church will serve a community Thanksgiving dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. today at the church, 6247 W. Broadway.

Brandywine church bazaar, food drive set

GREENFIELD — A holiday bazaar and food drive run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Brandywine Community Church, 1551 E. New Road. For information, call 317-462-4777.

Dinner is chance to feed others, too

GREENFIELD — Curry’s Chapel United Methodist church will have a harvest dinner with a missions focus after the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday. Those who go are asked to bring non-perishable items for a Thanksgiving meal for a local family the church will support.

MOHAWK — Mohawk United Methodist Church will serve a Thanksgiving dinner after the 10:15 a.m. Sunday School on Sunday. The church is located at 2045 W. County Road 400N.

Thanksgiving Eve services set

HANCOCK COUNTY — Several area churches have Thanksgiving-themed services set for Wednesday.

Cross of Grace Lutheran Church (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America), 3519 S. County Road 600W in New Palestine, will have a Thanksgiving Eve service at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Faith Lutheran Church (Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod), 200 W. McKenzie Road in Greenfield, will have Thanksgiving Eve vespers at 7 p.m.

St. James Lutheran Church (North American Lutheran Church), 1741 S. State St. in Greenfield, will have a Thanksgiving Eve service at 7 p.m.

Zion Lutheran Church (Lutheran Church — Missouri Synod), 6513 W. County Road 300S in New Palestine, will have a Thanksgiving Eve service at 7 p.m.
