GREENFIELD — A Greenfield teen faces sexual assault charges amid allegations he forced a girl to participate in sex acts, according to court documents.
Desmon Jones, 18, of 321 N. Noble St. in Greenfield, faces one Level 5 felony count of sexual misconduct with a minor.
The girl’s mother called police in August to say her daughter had engaged in a sexual act with an older boy while the two were together at a mutual friend’s house, court documents state.
The girl told police the boy knew she was underage at the time, court documents state.
Jones was arrested over the weekend, and he was being held in the Hancock County Jail on $5,000 cash bond at press time.
The Level 5 felony count Jones faces carries a penalty of one to six years.
