Barbecue dinner to support Carthage library

CARTHAGE — The annual barbecue pork dinner is set for 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 12 at Carthage Community Center on Main Street in Carthage.

The menu features pulled-pork sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw, applesauce, pies, cakes, cookies and drinks.

Cost is $10 for those age 13 and older, $5 for kindergartners to 12-year-olds, and free for those younger than kindergarten.

There will also be music, as well as prizes for coloring contest winners.

Proceeds will go to the Henry Henley Public Library, 102 N. Main St.
