Carol N. (Stickford) Inman, 91, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at her home. She was born on October 9, 1925, in Waldron, Ind., as the daughter of John F. and Grace (Embry) Stickford.
Carol graduated from Manilla High School in 1944. She married Robert D. Inman on March 29, 1947, in Indianapolis. Carol worked at Eli Lilly & Co for 9 years. She was also a homemaker and owner of Inman’s Towing. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Carol loved spending time with her grandkids, was a huge Indiana Pacers fan and she loved playing cards and gardening.
Carol is survived by her dog, Bella; sons, Kim D. (Donis) Inman, Brian (Jennifer) Inman and Brent D. (Cathy) Inman, all of Greenfield; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, John and Grace Stickford; husband, Robert D. Inman; sister, Opal McKee; and brothers, John Stickford, Keith Stickford and Lyle Stickford.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 4, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 5, also at the mortuary. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
